The questions from the Real ACT Prep Guide are the closest in format and difficulty to the real thing since they're made by the actual ACT Company, but that doesn't make the other test prep companies less valid, especially if they're actually harder than the actual test questions. Don't put too much stock into practice tests until you've taken a few, and really unless you're using a name brand, the test probably isn't that high of quality, but the main names such as Barron's, Kaplan, and Princeton Review all know what the tests look like and still do a good job of mimicking the level of difficulty and format of the test....Show more
