You just have to look a little harder than most p! eople have to.And getting a card after you've had a few problems doesn't necessarily mean that you have a higher than normal rate. Like I said, you'll just have to compare between credit lines, yearly fees, and interest percentages. Chi Alfero: I got my first credit card through premier bank. I know that Orchard bank also has some cards for people with less than perfect credit. Go to yahoo and type in credit cards for people with bad credit. Worse case scenario you will have to pre pay for one. Do what it takes though, because your credit is everything. You need it for a mortgage, car loans, personal loans, it even is a factor when you get some life insurance policies! Straighten it out at all costs. Good luck.
