Is Self-Employment taxes different than Small Business taxes?

Joeann Hoyt: Small business taxes is a general term for lots of taxes. Self employment tax is a specific tax.

Norris Rosener: There are a number of small business taxes. SE tax is a specific tax, for social security and medicare paid by people who are self employed. SE tax is a separate tax! from income tax. A 401K is a retirement savings plan, not a tax.
