Teen boy bedroom decorating ideas?

Craig Virani: Well to start with a gaming teen boy will most likely not care what his decor is, unless it directly affects his gaming, or is game related... (well none that I have met care anyway) so I wouldn't go toooo far with decorating, leave the walls neutral, and put these up, I know it is old now, but they're so old they're now retro kitschspace invaders wall decals (they also come in pacman) http://www.patriciafield.com/index.asp?PageAction=...Unfortunately this thing is only avail in eastern europe, but WOW! http://blog.wired.com/gadgets/images/2007/10/18/2b...back to reality though, for bedding I'd just use a totally plain cover that will wear well, the focus isn't about a bed cover in this room, so patterns or designs would be overbearing, unless of course he finds one he is crazy about??For some great gaming seating target has lots but check this one out, its a sound lounger that is compatible with any audio device... http://www.target.com/Blue-Pyramat-Sound-L! ounger-P...but target has other gaming seating that is pretty cool... http://www.target.com/Video-Game-Furniture-Games-E...and for console and games storage there are these two.. http://www.target.com/Step2-Video-Center/dp/B00006...http://www.target.com/Quest-Video-Game-Station-Bla...For all your other furniture I still think IKEA covers everything teens need, http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/categories/depar... but to suit your theme, I'd start with the gaming accessories and then match the furniture, bedding and walls etc, for a cool take though, these lighting strips look fantastic (and if he's gaming overhead light isn't a great idea) http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/5011940...I'd also use something like the tupplur roll blind to block out light, http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/categories/depar...and these glass globes look fantastic alone or on top of a little ikea light (can't remember its name but glass globe and light cost me about $20 together) and re! ally look amazing in a darkened room.. http://www.ikea.com/us/! en/catalog/products/9006566...Other than that, I'd be trying to find some posters of his favorite games, not making the room too bright, and here are a few other smaller ideas to accessorise the room (retro again but he may be too young to appreciate it??) http://www.fredflare.com/customer/product.php?prod...http://www.fredflare.com/customer/product.php?prod...http://www.fredflare.com/customer/product.php?prod...http://www.fredflare.com/customer/product.php?prod...http://www.perpetualkid.com/index.asp?PageAction=V...http://www.perpetualkid.com/index.asp?PageAction=V...http://www.perpetualkid.com/index.asp?PageAction=V...http://www.perpetualkid.com/index.asp?PageAction=V...http://www.perpetualkid.com/index.asp?PageAction=V...http://www.perpetualkid.com/index.asp?PageAction=V...http://www.perpetualkid.com/index.asp?PageAction=V...http://www.perpetualkid.com/index.asp?PageAction=V...http://www.perpetualkid.com/index.asp?PageAction=V...http://www.perpetualkid.com/index.asp?Page! Action=V...http://www.perpetualkid.com/index.asp?PageAction=V...and last but not least, how tech savvy are you? because the score board is fantastic, but requires a bit of skill (and money) to do...
