Shena Etulain: Almost every car insurance covers damage by other *guest* drivers, but have limits as to who counts as a guest (i.e. if someone lives in your house and you didn't tell the insurance company that they would be driving your car, then they may well not count as a guest driver and the insurance then would not cover the damage). Also, many insurance policies only cover damage to the other car, so if your coverage doesn't cover replacing damage to your car, they obviously wouldn't cover it if someone else was driving it either....Show more
