Does web design require graphic design?

Antonia Quinnett: Do you see graphics on websites? Does that make it quite obvious you need some graphics design experience?

Daria Verfaillie: You don't really need to know graphic design to make webpages. What you are going to want to learn is CSS3. w3school has great resources for learning all aspects of webdesign. Basically what you know, HTML5, provides the content of a page. Then CSS will style the page which is the graphical aspect. Javascript will then be able to manipulate the data from HTML. I think what you want to learn next is CSS or if your more in depth and want an quicker work flow learn the CSS per processor SASS and Compass.
