I'm about 99.9% sure.We can't be 100% sure since you did not tell us which camcorder or which tripod.Assuming the tripod has a 1/4" X 20 screw and the camcorder has a 1/4" x 20 mount, they'll work together just fine. Kizzy Hett: My Vivitar tripod has a proprietary foot/--it has a specialized type of mount..that clicks/back into place.But the screw is the same as all my other tripods../
