Kris Bozelle: The person making the long distance call from a cell would be charged unless they have free long distance, which is very common. Edited to make a correction. (I'm not sure now if the land line gets charged)
Keneth Mailhot: No charge for an incomi9gn call unless the person is caling you collect. As a customer service rep for a major " bell" company, PLEASE make sure that if you have a house full of kids, you ask for the blockins on pay per use features like 3 way calling, *69 (call return) and repeat dialing or which ever other custom calling services are available on a pay per use basis. Most often if you subscribe to a package of services you can get a better deal. If you are NOT choosing a long distance carrier, then put a block on the line or ask your carrier to place a password on your account. This means NO CHANGES can be made to your account online, on the phone on the internet...unless the password you provide is given. However, if you forget yo! ur password, even if you call a customer service rep, you may not be able to make ANY changes.Personally....If you have numerous children who use the phone? I'd say get 2 lines and place them on one bill and get an unlimited caling plan where all domestic calls ( throughout the US ) are free. AT&T ( my ermployer) has excellent plans where u can also add your tv/interent/phone AND cell phone on one bill....Show more
