screws in jaw to hold dentures?

screws in jaw to hold dentures?

answers 0:First off , I have so much bone loss that my dentures won't hold, even with the strongest adhesive.I have heard about having screws put in the jaw bones to hold them in.i don't know if they snap in or if it is a perminate thing .Anyone with this please tell me how much pain is involed in the proceedure and how much does it cost for something like that.answers 1:I prefer you go to the doctor. Don`t put screw on your jaw it will scare people.answers 2:Dental implants can be used to secure a denture. They do it in several ways, One way is to put a couple in and the denture would snap onto them, it would still be removable for cleaning. The other way they put more than a few in and then secure a permanent set of dentures to these posts. They would only be removable by the dentist. I do not have either type but do wear dentures. I know the surgery to do this kind of this is expens! ive....answers 3:its very expensive and requires surgery,, the newest thing is to put real teeth in and they are glued in with plugs,, if you have no jaw bone then you have no place to put screws or plugs,, so its not for you!answers 4:is this a painful procedure after the screws are place in the jaw?answers 5:You will have to return on your dentist and notice if the partial can also be tightened and feature him investigate the are compatible as good. Until then have you ever attempted fixadent?? It customarily works relatively good.answers 6:Linda Please! Your gonna scare the children!
