However, if there's something your parents have been harping about you to do, like study or something, maybe you should try asking for high-technology new stuff that will help you study and will also be fun for you. Maybe, if your parents would be the type to give you this, you should ask for a trip to ! some place, Italy or France. If you don't have a permit take drivers training because you are going to need a car in the future! If you don't like that suggestion just ask for money or a PARTY! That sounds cheesy, I know, but you will regret getting the "it" thing of the moment versus something that will remind you of this special date. Looking back on my 16th, I regret asking for the shoes and dress I got because I soon tired of them and they no longer mean much to me. For my 18th, I got a very nice diamond ring from my parents. Just a simple, single cut diamond set on a silver band. It means a lot to me and it is definitely something I will wear all through my life....Show more
